QUESTION | is it possible that we have misunderstood god completely, and based our behaviors, and interactions with each other, on a model of god that is simply inaccurate?

I HAVE TO WRITE THIS ONE IN ALL CAPS PEOPLE BECAUSE WHAT A QUESTION!! I THINK IT'S COMPLETELY POSSIBLE TO MISUNDERSTAND GOD AND I THINK I HAVE DEFINITELY DONE IT. THE PAST TWO YEARS I HAVE BEEN UNLEARNING AND UNWINDING PARTS OF MY BELIEFS THAT WERE BURIED IN GUILT AND SHAME AND NOTHING COULD HAVE PREPARED ME FOR THIS FREEDOM. THE FREEDOM TO LOVE DIFFERENTLY AND DEEPER. TO EMBRACE THE UNKNOWN TO FORGIVE FASTER AND LISTEN MORE. OUR IMAGE OF GOD AFFECTS THE WAY WE SEE EACH OTHER AND IF WE CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT GOD LOVES US UNCONDITIONALLY, HOW CAN WE EVER LOVE OURSELVES OR EACH OTHER THAT WAY? QUESTIONS LIKE THESE ARE WHERE THE BEAUTIFUL WORK IN MY LIFE BEGAN! XO
